•Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, VMware Administrator!•

•Genpact is hiring VMware Administrator who must create and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.•

• •They would help to build & decommission ESXi servers.•
• •They would help to monitor, test and resolve server-related queries to their client or company.•
• •They provide support for IT infrastructure services on vcenter vSphere and ESXi Hypervisors 6.5, 7.0 and 8.0 versions.•
• •Engineers work proactively within a team on requests created in ticketing tools.•
•Responsibilities•

• •Deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.•
• •Monitor and optimize the performance of virtualized infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary changes.•
• •Manage and maintain VMware virtual networking, storage, and security features such as vSwitches, vSAN, and vSphere Distributed Switches.•
• •Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity by implementing VMware High Availability (HA) and VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) solutions.•
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of VMware infrastructure with other systems and technologies.•
• •Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and upgrades of VMware software and hardware components.•
• •Monitor system health, capacity planning, and resource utilization to ensure optimal performance and scalability.•
• •Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices related to VMware infrastructure.•
• •Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and incident management for VMware-related issues.•
• •Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and industry best practices related to virtualization and VMware.•

•Minimum Qualifications / Skills•

• •Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.•
• •Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Server, and related technologies.•
• •Familiarity with virtual networking, storage, and security concepts.•
• •Experience in designing and implementing VMware HA and SRM solutions.•

• •Monitoring Tools - Skyline, vROps, SolarWinds•
• •Automation - PowerShell, PowerCLI, vRA•
