Objectives of the role:

• To take the consultant role within the application delivery team for Tableau report and dashboard development.
• Be a team player working closely with functional team, data modeler, data integration team members etc.
• Diagnose and provide solutions to any performance issues
• Understand reporting requirements
• Preparing data for use by Tableau.
• Establishing connections to Data Sources.
• Adding or Creating Dimensions, Measures and Calculations.
• Performing Data Modeling in Tableau Desktop.

Responsibilities

• Good communication skills & highly proactive in approach
• Ability to manage & prioritize deliverables
• Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools
• Closely work with Customers on their requirements and convert into solutions
• Actively participate in knowledge augmentation initiatives
• Should be actively responsive to customers and mitigate issues such as product feature deficiencies and other objections
• Implement Change management processes to migrate Tableau projects and objects between QA, UAT and Production environments
• Mange Cube builds, refreshes and monitoring
• Work closely with report domains architects and suggest configuration and process changes to improve the reliability, scalability and supportability of Tableau environment

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

• BE/B Tech/MCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Core Development experience working with development teams
• Certification in a

Preferred qualifications

• experience working on data visualization tool
• Experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of Tableau tool capabilities including admin. activities.
• Ability to create technical documentation to support postproduction support.

• Highly confident with providing support and training to users
• Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to customers
• Experience across a number of industries - ideally strong finance experience
• Business analysis
• Client facing skills
