We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist:

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a Global Subject Matter Expert for email technologies, primarily Microsoft 365 Exchange Online (cloud), Exchange Hybrid (MRS and Edge servers) and Microsoft Exchange 2013/2019 (on premise).
  • Ensure that the Exchange email service is running at optimal performance globally.
  • Be able to support and lead incident management escalation and crisis calls related to Exchange technical issues impacting the email service globally.
  • Help define Exchange product roadmaps and keep other areas of HSBC informed about the Technological infrastructure capabilities available.
  • Support new email large scale projects and initiatives aimed at IT optimization & cost reduction, increase user productivity & security, support business growth or meet regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive experience of supporting and engineering Exchange Email on premise and Exchange Hybrid environments as part of a large organisation. Experience on migrating large number of mailboxes to M365
  • Expert working and operations knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2013/2019 (automation, troubleshooting, high availability / disaster recovery, security management, patching) on large deployments.
Expert working knowledge of:
  • Office 365 External Email Encryption.
  • M365 Advanced Compliance and Advanced eDiscovery.
  • Exchange integration on a multi-forest design at large scale.
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues in Exchange.
  • Role Based Access Management (RBAC).
  • Writing PowerShell scripts and automating tasks in Exchange.
  • A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways.
  • Proven experience of leading others and creating an environment that supports and inspires people to develop and deliver
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively, and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations.
  • A successful track record of leading significant and complex business programmes, overcoming challenges to consistently meet/exceed objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Administration and managing Email Domino infrastructure is a must.
  • Functionality working and implementation of Binary tree products.
  • Implementation and management of Co-existence environment between exchange and domini is a must.
  • Experience with EMC SourceOne (Email Compliance Archive) on premise.
  • Experience with Voltage SecureMail solution.
  • Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers and vendor management knowledge.
  • Knowledge of perimeter security devices and methodologies. (Firewalls, email gateways, proxy servers, anti-virus, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of coexistence with other email platforms (free busy, mail routing etc.)
