You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, software support teams, R&D teams and customer stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. This role requires strong project management skills, technical acumen, and exceptional communication abilities to provide an exceptional customer experience.What the role offers:Ownership of Project Financials- revenue planning, budget monitoring, cost control and ensuring targeted profitability.Prepare Project delivery plan with buy-in from internal and external stakeholders, overseeing the correct sequencing of project phases to ensure business needs are met.Work with business and IT stakeholders to define, document and secure customer sign off for all the important project artifacts / phases i.e., Design, UAT etc.Proactively identify & manage project risks and develop mitigation plan through inputs from project team members.Analyse the customer needs to determine the right implementation approach and corresponding resourcing requirements.Leading the implementation and delivery of the services projects utilising OpenText Professional Services (OTPS) standard methodology and attaining a sufficient level of quality within budget and schedule.Track, update, and report project progress through available project management tools, ensure to leverage the tools available internally.Escalating problems, publishing progress reports and dashboards, update Project control book, including providing executive level summaries to senior management (as needed).Ensure proactive customer/user communication towards building a positive professional relations.Providing leadership of the project team including business and technology teams, vendors, outsourced service providers.Actively engage staff to do work in better ways and encourage them to think differently to serve customer sooner and better.Review project management process and sharing necessary feedback to global PMO teams for continuous improvement of the suggested project management framework.What you need to succeed:Bachelor's degree in computer science or any of the engineering disciplines with Overall industry experience of 12+ years with 7+ years of Project management experienceKnowledge of general Enterprise software/Business applications and technologies (ECM, BPM, BDA, Analytics, EIM) and their implementation - SDLC process, various stages and rolesExperience in delivering SAP projects/Opentext VIM/Opentext xECM projects.Any Project Management, Agile certifications are a plus.Project management skills - Knowledge areas like Schedule, Cost, Scope, Risk, Resourcing, Program management, financial management, Change Management etc.Customer management skills - Stakeholder management, negotiation, advocacy, influencing, escalation management etc.Ability to manage large cross-functional programs, projects and initiatives driving global impactCompetency in Analytical Problem Solving, Customer/Partner Relationships, Product & TechnologyExcellent management/supervisory/interpersonal skills and ability to operate under tight timeline-driven initiativesAbility to analyse and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal.OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
