We are looking for a quality assurance engineer to help us maintain our elevated level of quality. QA tester will seek bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they are dealt with.Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Understand Requirements from the Client, gather, analyze and devise test scenarios.\xc2\xb7 Clarify all requirements & be able to provide proper Estimation during Sprint Planning\xc2\xb7 Develop Test Plan, Strategies, Test Cases and Maintain the existing test artifacts.\xc2\xb7 Design the Necessary Test Bed along with test data required for Testing.\xc2\xb7 Software Testing experience with Web or SaaS Platform based products, SQL Server databases.\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge on cloud technologies (AZURE, AWS)\xc2\xb7 Experience on building Test Automation Frameworks specifically in Java, Javascript / Type Script\xc2\xb7 Experience to one of the following frameworks Playwright, WebDriver IO, Protractor, Cypress\xc2\xb7 Experience in BDD Framework like Cucumber\xc2\xb7 Experience testing web services (SOAP/REST; Throughput, Performance under Load, etc.)\xc2\xb7 Experience testing hosted or SaaS-based solutions.\xc2\xb7 Familiar with relational database design and good working knowledge of SQL for querying, updating, and deleting data.\xc2\xb7 Strong proficiency with functional, regression, and stability testing techniques.\xc2\xb7 Experience working in a cross-functional development team with the ability to influence quality of products in that environment.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.\xc2\xb7 Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.\xc2\xb7 Strong oral and written communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Effective team building and problem-solving abilities.QualificationsMinimum qualifications we seek in you!\xc2\xb7 B.E./BTech/MCA/MTech\xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills\xc2\xb7 Experience in Software TestingPreferred qualifications\xc2\xb7 Good & Proven Experience in Testing background\xc2\xb7 Years of experience in test case design, execution, reporting, test bed setup and maintaining test artifacts and also Automation frameworks\xc2\xb7 Good experience in Gather, Analyze and understanding Requirements properly\xc2\xb7 Good experience in reviewing requirements and clarifying all before proceeding with further testing processes\xc2\xb7 knowledge of Testing tools and Automation frameworks preferably Cucumber, WebDriver IO\xc2\xb7 Must be good in Basic & Scripting knowledge of Javascript/Typescript\xc2\xb7 Experience in developing UI automation scripts, debug, handle issues & reviewing\xc2\xb7 Experience in handling GIT Repository and familiar with all GIT Commands.\xc2\xb7 Must have proven experience in handling any of the Test Management tools, preferably Rally or JIRA etc.\xc2\xb7 Must be good at devising all possible test scenarios and providing good test coverage\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Testing variants like API, Functional, Regression and Smoke etc.\xc2\xb7 Good in Effort estimation, adherence to organization guidelines and regulations\xc2\xb7 Experience in discussing and interacting with Stakeholders/Project Management/Clients and receive/review the feedback accurately\xc2\xb7 Must be good Team Player\xc2\xb7 Extensive experience in Agile /V&V methodologiesGenpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
