Job Title: Lead Consultant - Collibra/Snowflake Data EngineerCareer Level - EIntroduction to role:
Join us at AstraZeneca as a Lead Consultant for the Metadata Discovery and Access Team. This full-time Grade E role is based in our GITC site at Chennai. As part of our Information and Data Enablement (IDE) capability, we are seeking a Technical BAU lead for our metadata discovery workstream. You will work closely with the POs and the leads of the developments teams across the workstream to support our BAU requirements. This means accountability for uninterrupted service to our data marketplace users and ensuring effective day-to-day delivery of our SLAs.Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for managing incidents, service requests from regions, and related communication. You will prepare RCA and Problem management, liaise with DevOps and Platform Success teams to plan and execute Continuous Service Improvements. You will also assist in requirement analysis, effort estimation, and solution/technical design for enhancements.Essential Skills/Experience:
- Exposure to Collibra and EvEx platform, user interfaces, APIs, data models, and workflows.
- Good engineering background to understand the metadata tech stack (Asset model changes, Org structure update, User access and permissions maintenance)
- Hands-on experience of engineering best practices including CICD, automated testing, cloud infrastructure, APIs (Application Programming Interfaces)
- Experience managing support teams and working on SNOW with a good understanding of service metrics and processes- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience of supporting multiple tech stacks and ensuring uninterrupted platform support
- Proven experience of innovation, Lean and agile delivery methodologies.
