About the Job: As a QA/Test Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our automated solutions. Your main tasks include creating comprehensive test cases and data, identifying testing scenarios, and developing detailed steps for thorough testing. Attention to detail is crucial for spotting issues like missing features and usability problems.

• Key Responsibilities: ETL Testing and SQL

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test plans, test cases, and automation test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Perform testing for various software applications, encompassing functional, system, and regression testing.
• Adhere to established quality standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.
• Hands-on experience in test execution, reporting, test closure, and creating tracking metrics.
• Conceptual knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and Data modeling.
• Well-versed with relational databases, non-relational databases, data streams, and file stores.
• Hands-on experience creating/executing stored procedures, functions, tables, views, and cursors.
• Experience in testing BI reports (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL DB.
• Test ETL mappings to extract data from multiple sources like SQL Server, flat files, etc., into target tables using transformations.
• Understand and implement testing across CI/CD pipeline (Azure DevOps) processes.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
• Analyze the Source to Target Mapping Documents and author ETL test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
• Analyze testing results, document detailed findings, and report these to relevant stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in QA testing, including expertise in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technology, Azure, .NET, and ETL tools.
• Experience with cloud technologies, including Azure and Databricks.
• Experience with Microsoft CI/CD systems and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages and testing tools.
• Certifications in quality assurance, Azure, or related Microsoft technologies.
