  • Enterprise Architecture: The candidate understands enterprise architecture frameworks and has worked on business process modelling. He/she is expected to be familiar with the traditional IT and cloud systems.
  • Analyse source feeds and attributes as part of the requirements gathering and delivery process, provide the appropriate mapping from source systems into the SDI format
  • Translating business requirements into solutions that can be delivered via the Global SDI (Standard Data Interface) and ultimately consumed by finance reporting functions
  • Support testing and Go-Live activities including designing test strategy, UAT, defects remediation, Parallel run, etc.
  • Closely work with Project manager to progress project to plan, co-ordinate and prioritize activities/resources, facilitate sign offs on each milestone delivery and escalate risks/issues in a timely manner for consideration
  • Be responsible for tasks within the plan, tracking and reporting progress of Business milestones to the Project Manager, stakeholders and management team
  • Liaise with different Lines of Business / Stakeholders / Project Teams; present findings / analysis to Senior Management
  • Working with IT architects and developers to identify, document and implement optimum solutions
  • Working with multiple teams and SMEs to upskill and share knowledge
  • Work with dynamic plans in a fast moving environment, continually assessing priorities and progress and adjusting course where necessary, being sure to maintain stakeholder buy-in
  • Oversee the successful delivery of workstreams end to end, for example to include: requirements analysis, solution proposals, project approach, project plan and schedule, test strategy and plan, release and implementation activities. Able to deliver within Agile project approach.
Requirements
  • Experience in the financial sector, specialising in data analytics of granular transactional data to create visual paradigm to optimise data structures. He/she is expected to be hands-on in data analysis and data modelling.
  • Analytical skills: Capability to analyze complex business processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix management environment with functional management of other team members to help deliver the project objectives
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong management, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills including the ability to listen to and influence stakeholders at all levels, and to build consensus among a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, Project)
  • Technical ability such as use of relational databases (Access, SQL - Must Have, Big Query, Big Data - Nice to have) and analyzing large data sets
  • Comfortable preparing and presenting key information to stakeholders and management team
  • Demonstrate ability to build a broad and diverse network of positive working relationships and to develop strong and lasting partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Committed to continuous improvement, self-motivated, confident, creative and capable of working effectively autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Strong ability to anticipate, identify and mitigate risks and apply appropriate controls
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines.
  • Should be flexible to stretch at work across shifts
  • Understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviors, processes and objectives
What additional skills will be good to have?
  • Technical ability relating to understanding of data sourcing and lineage - would be useful
  • Experience of documenting clear and targeted requirements and other quality documents such as status reports, presentations
  • Experience with Cloud Platform specially Google Cloud or AWS - an advantage
