Lets connect andexplore possibilities of having you onboard the Prolifics team!About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Synapse Support and Development Specialist to join our managed services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory (ADF), coupled with proficient SQL skills. This role requires an individual who can provide robust support and execute development activities for our Azure Synapse pipelines, ensuring seamless operations and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of Azure Synapse pipelines, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.
• Support and Maintenance: Provide advanced support for Azure Synapse and ADF, addressing and resolving any issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Development Activities: Design, develop, and implement new data integration solutions within Azure Synapse and ADF to meet business requirements.
• SQL Development: Utilize advanced SQL skills to develop and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data transformation and reporting needs.
• Administration: Perform administrative tasks in Azure Synapse, including security management, resource optimization, and cost control.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data operations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, workflows, and system configurations to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7
• years of experience working with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and SQL.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in managing and developing Azure Synapse and ADF pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with Synapse administration tasks such as security management and resource optimization.
• Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect).
