In this role, you will: • Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards
• Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data
• Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
• Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews
• Assist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported
• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors
Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• B.A. /B.S./B.E. course in College (preferably in Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Sciences, Engineering); post grad degree nice to have.
• 10+ years total working experience
• 10+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 6+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both
• Proven ability to use SQL & SAS to effectively and efficiently obtain data from SQL Server, Teradata and Oracle sources.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated expertise with analytic tools such as SAS EG, PC SAS, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Viya, SQL and effectively obtain and merge data, perform analytics, and automate reporting.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to non-experts
• Knowledge of Consumer-facing business processes, products, data and systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects forward in a complex, resource-constrained environment with conflicting needs across stakeholders.
• Effective leadership ability to drive successful execution of strategic plans; ability to plan, prioritize and set goals. Must possess strong collaboration skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate powerfully and prolifically to senior and executive leaders and simplify the complex.
• Ability to influence without direct authority, create and manage (while achieving results) largescale change and influence people at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to execute effectively in a matrixed organization, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas.
• Ability to lead through adversity and adjust to changing priorities.
• Experience preparing presentations and analysis for third-party and regulatory audiences.
• Knowledge of Wells Fargo Community Bank products, sales processes, data and systems (for internal applicants)
• Demonstrated experience Teradata, Oracle and Hadoop environments
Job Expectations: • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
• Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
• Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
• Lead or participate on large cross group projects
• Mentor less experienced staff
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
