Role: INVESTMENT CONTENT SUPPORT: FUND EXPERT
Purpose: The fund expert is a member of the India Centre of Excellence (CoE) team functionally aligned to the Head of Fund Offering Management in Switzerland. The role is part of the established CoE, which provides value-added services in areas of investment advice, market research and portfolio analysis. The CoE is a knowledge centre within the Bank with an objective to deliver high quality support to the investment, publishing and research teams across Asia and Switzerland. Responsibilities
- Regular update of fund-related data and documents (allocations, performance etc.) into various internal platforms.
- Creating and updating fund publications in PowerPoint.
- Owner of the Fund Monitoring Process. This includes keeping MorningStar database updated for over 250 active and 500 passive funds (fund ranks, fund BM information, etc.), running the report and processing the comments for client use.
- Various fund-related data analytics tasks.
- Automation of various processes.
Experience & Skills
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Chartered Accounting
- 5 years or more of experience in the fund industry, ideally as a Fund Analyst or a supporting function to Fund Research with an industry leader
- Language skills: Strong grip on financial English and experience in creating and proofreading fund related content
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Basic understanding of Morningstar, Python and/or MATLAB are an advantage
- Able to work independently and in diverse team setup to take on initiatives with a positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Client-centric approach for all deliverables
- Able to quickly troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions
- Fast learner and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication/coordination skills to deal with different stakeholders
