Overview:Position TitleOracle Database Administrator L2BANDLocationIndiaDepartmentMiddlewareRole SummaryAs a L2 resource of his /her team, he /she:xc2xb7 Takes up technical tasks and support day to day BAU tasks/Incidents/RFCs.xc2xb7 Supports his/her team during diagnosis when technical issues rise in his/her scope of expertise.xc2xb7 Proposes service improvements for all Oracle/EBS services supported throughout the organization.xc2xb7 Provides technical knowledge, supports services both proactively and reactively to maintain the availability and reliability of database system infrastructure in accordance to the SLA.xc2xb7 Works in line with policies based on LEAN-CA-CIB best practices.xc2xb7 Actively engages during any high severity issue and drives for issue resolution.xc2xb7 Reviews technology changes to identify potential risks.xc2xb7 Supports his/her team during diagnosis when technical issues rise in his/her scope of expertise.xc2xb7 Is aware of the global IT structure so that he/she anticipates interrelationships within the organization.xc2xb7 Engages with technical peer, Development team, Service managers, Architect and project teams on technology roadmap and projects.xc2xb7 Facilitates transformation projects and suggest future directions for new areas of improvement and enhancements.xc2xb7 Guarantees the production readiness.xc2xb7 Is available and able to drive technically, any complex or high severity incidents that occur within the scope of their role.xc2xb7 Actively engages to understand new technologies and technology trends and reviews them with a view to incorporate them into Bank operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Expertisexc2xb7 Architect HA and DR Solutions for PAAS services like Exadata, Autonomous Databases (ATP,ADW),RAC & Data guard).xc2xb7 Installation, Upgrade & configuration of Oracle/EBS software.xc2xb7 Should have knowledge of Oracle RAC installation and configuration & management.xc2xb7 Must have Oracle ASM/ACFS implementation skills.xc2xb7 Good scripting skills to automate regular DBA admin tasks.xc2xb7 Expertise on backup utilities like RMAN, EXPDP/IMPDP, CRSCTL, SRVCTL, Netbackup and Networker.xc2xb7 Patching of Oracle DB/EBS Apps (EXACC and Non-EXACC DB).xc2xb7 Good understanding on performance tuning in Oracle database.xc2xb7 Should have knowledge of Oracle OEM 12C/13C.xc2xb7 He will be customer facing for all operational issues and activities.xc2xb7 Should have capability to install and configure RAC Servers under Oracle DB and EBS Apps technology.xc2xb7 Expertise in query fine tuning and troubleshooting.xc2xb7 Implement backup and recovery of Oracle DB/EBS Apps.xc2xb7 Administration over DB Objects including Tables, Clusters, Views, Procedures etc.xc2xb7 Good in Impact Analysis of DB Change / DB Design Change etc.xc2xb7 Strong experience on configure and troubleshoot physical standby database using dataguard broker.xc2xb7 Strong experience on configure and troubleshoot golden gate replication components.xc2xb7 Implement backup and recovery of Oracle databases for various scenarios.xc2xb7 In-depth understanding of Advanced Architectures (Multi-Node, RAC, ASM, EXACC, GoldenGate).xc2xb7 Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards.xc2xb7 Must have experience in Database tuning including I/O, Load Analysis, ADDR, AWR, SQL Profiling etc.xc2xb7 Responsible for installation, upgrades (EBS, Database, EXACC and RAC), patches, SR support, database tuning,concurrent manager administration, cloningOracle EBS knowledge/experience added advantage.xc2xb7 Capable of delivering under critical environment pressure, resolve complex production issues & provide support when required;xc2xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills;xc2xb7 Independent and strong team player with good inter-personal skills.Shift/Oncall & Weekend SupportFlexible to work in shifts/ weekends/On-Call support as follows:ShiftTimingsMorning Shift4.30AM to 1.30PMAfternoon Shift11.30AM to 8.30PMAfternoon Shift 112.30PM to 9.30PM **Evening Shift2.30PM to 11.30PMEvening Shift 13.30PM to 12:30AM **** Day light savings Period- Nov to Mar ( 1hour ahead) **On-Call Support- To provide On-Call support services on rotational basisxc2xb7 11.30 PM Night to 4.30 am on weekdays after end of the evening shift work (Apr to Oct).xc2xb7 12.30 Midnight to 4.30 am on weekdays after end of the evening shift 1 shift work (Nov to Mar).xc2xb7 00:00 AM to 11:59PM on both Saturday and Sunday.xc2xb7 Weekend Support - Mandatory to work on every 3rd Saturday of given month. ( Timings From time to end time to be mentioned )Public Holiday Support xe2x80x93 Paris Holidays (Client Holiday) will be followed as public holidays and not India holidays.Process & Toolsxc2xb7 ITSM tool- HP Service Now xe2x80x93 Ticketing tool for INC/SR/Change/Problem ticketsxc2xb7 In-house toolsxc2xb7 HP OMI for monitoringxc2xb7 Strong knowledge on ITIL Process & PracticesEducational Qualificationsxc2xb7 Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Information/Computer technology preferred.Key Competencies:xc2xb7 5yrs (Min) to 8yrs (Max) of relevant experience in Oracle/EBS administration.xc2xb7 The candidate should have worked in a SLA driven environment.xc2xb7 Ability to work in a flexible, team-oriented and constantly changing environment.xc2xb7 Good Oral and Written communication skills.xc2xb7 Basic knowledge on shell/Python scripting.xc2xb7 Having Oracle RAC/OCI certification will be added advantage.xc2xb7 Having previous banking BAU support will be added advantage.
