How You Will Contribute:

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining Inventory accounting and reporting for India / APAC region, calculation of COGS, Coordination with Logistic Team, Inventory Team, for physical verification of inventory, reconciliation of accounts, assistance in month end ,quarter end, year-end close process.

You will include:

• Maintain and update the inventory records in inventory software.
• Calculation of cost of goods sold by using methods such as first in first out (FIFO), or last in first out (LIFO), Weighted average, actual costing etc.
• Ensuring that all inventory transaction details are recorded accurately in oracle and inventory software.
• Co-ordination in conducting physical verification of inventory.
• Co-ordination with Logistic, Service Operation, Accounting and Global Inventory team.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with the month-end, Quarter-end, Year-end close process,
• Reconciliation of subledger to general ledger account balances
• Preparation of Balance sheet schedules related to inventory.
• Supporting the Statutory and internal audit teams in APJ region.

The Must Haves:

• BCOM, BCOM(H)/ MBA /MCOM, CA/ CA inter from reputed college
• Previous experience in Oracle 11i/Oracle R12, inventory software Odoo
• Previous experience in Inventory Accounting in a telecom sector for India, APAC regions.
• Minimum 10 to 12 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in reviewing APAC logistic related documents and information
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Accounting knowledge and experience in Oracle, inventory software & Excel
• Sound knowledge of IND AS 2, IAS 2
