Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
Hours: 9-10 hours at office & court per day
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in civil and criminal cases before the District Court of Nagpur.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare cases and provide accurate legal advice.
• Draft legal documents including petitions, complaints, affidavits, agreements, and contracts.
• Handle documentation for notary services, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions on behalf of clients.
• Prepare and file summons, warrants, and other legal documents with relevant authorities.
• Advise clients on matters related to property disputes, contracts, family law, and other legal issues.
• Assist in navigating government procedures such as NIT, city survey, and revenue department matters.
• Maintain accurate records of case files, correspondence, and legal documents.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• Admission to the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on civil and criminal cases.
• Proven experience in handling cases before the District Court of Nagpur.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with government procedures and regulations related to NIT, city survey, and revenue department affairs is preferred.
