: Job Title: Attendant - Laundry Function: Laundry Location: Lonavala Primary Purpose Is responsible for managing overall daily operations of the Laundry Room to deliver an excellent Guest experience while ensuring quality controls and guest inquiries. Skills & Major accountabilities of position (4-6 major accountabilities) 1. Should have good organisational and planning skills. 2. Should have working knowledge of the operation and care of commercial washers and dryers. 3. Should have knowledge of how to use chemicals and solvents correctly and safely. 4. Should be accountable and spirited. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Should ensure or do daily cleaning of the laundry area. 2. Handles all items received according to hotel policy and procedures by checking, marking and sorting all guests laundry. 3. Should check and compare laundry counts i.e., guest count and hotel count must be identical, in case discrepancy should report to supervisor. 4. Inspects clothing before dispatch and report to supervisor if any item found in pockets of guest or damages. 5. Should do washing of hotel linen, ironing of uniforms and guest laundry. 6. Ensures that guest laundry and pressing are collected and returned within due deadlines and as per standard process. 7. Should checks carefully on the quality of guest items and the count before returning guest laundry. 8. Should perform additional assignments as given by the management. Work relations (context - main interfaces - functional report) 1. Reports to Assistant Manager Laundry. 2. Interfaces strongly with department head and laundry employees. Key figures - provide key data of the job e.g. budget, number of reports etc 1. Financials - (Figures/% to be discussed) 2. Guest Satisfaction Scores - (Figures/% to be discussed) Experience and qualifications required for the job Bachelor\'s degree/HS pass preferred (ideally in hospitality) with atleast 0-2 years of previous experience in good five star hotels. Should have worked in laundry as Assistant/supervisor Laundry. Minimum Qualification: preferred Bachelor\'s degree or HS pass. Minimum Job Experience: atleast 0-2 years Reporting to: Laundry Manager Travel: N/A
