We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to join our production team at our Jhotwara, Jaipur plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating lathe machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in the production process. You will play a critical role in producing high-quality components and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lathe Machine Operations:
• Set up and operate lathe machines to fabricate metal and other materials.
• Select and install cutting tools, attachments, and accessories.
• Blueprint Interpretation:
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine specifications.
• Process Optimization:
• Calculate dimensions, tolerances, and other operational parameters such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as necessary to optimize output.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Ensure workpieces meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines to ensure functionality.
• Troubleshoot and address machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow safety protocols and regulations during machine operation.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.
• Collaboration:
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding production requirements and issues.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in relevant training programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge:
• Comprehensive understanding of lathe machine operations and capabilities.
• Familiarity with cutting tools, materials, and machining processes.

• Proficiency in setting up and operating lathe machines.
• Knowledge of tooling and attachments such as chucks and mandrels.
