Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Shaft Turning : Operate lathe machines to turn shafts with precise dimensions and smooth finishes.
• Threading : Perform external and internal threading based on blueprint specifications.
• Keyway Cutting : Cut keyways into shafts or components with correct alignment and dimensions.
• Bearing Seat Making : Create bearing seats on shafts, ensuring proper tolerances for fit.
• Boring : Bore holes to precise sizes and finishes per technical drawings.
• Blueprint Interpretation : Read blueprints and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Quality Control : Inspect parts with precision tools to ensure accuracy and specifications.
• Machine Setup & Maintenance : Set up machines, select tooling, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Lathe Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift heavy objects and parts as needed.
• Work in a noisy environment with protective equipment.
