• Knowledge of drawing and measurements,
• Experience working in Tool Room.
• Experience on manual Lathe Machine.
• Ensuring proper alignment and adjustment of the machine components.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications and requirements of the workpiece.
• Selects the appropriate cutting tools such as turning tools, boring tools, threading tools, or grooving tools.
• Starts the lathe machine and adjusts the machine controls to set the rotational speed, tool movements, and other parameters.
• Performs various machining operations, including turning, facing, tapering, drilling, knurling, and threading.
• Inspects the machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications.
• Routine maintenance tasks on the lathe machine, such as cleaning, lubrication, and tool maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace regulations.
