Job Title: Laser cutting Machine Operator Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce high-quality precision parts. The Laser Cutting Machine Operator will work closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities: Machine setup and Calibration: Set up and calibrate laser cutting machines according to job specifications. Adjust machine settings such as speed, power, and focus to achieve optimal results. Material Preparation: Load and unload materials onto/from the laser cutting machine. Ensure materials are properly secured and aligned for accurate cutting. Programme Execution: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to program the laser cutting machine. Execute cutting programs to achieve precise and accurate cuts. Quality Control: Monitor the cutting process to ensure quality standards are met. Perform regular quality checks on finished products to verify conformance to specifications. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance on laser cutting machines to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the production process. Safety And Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Follow company policies and procedures related to laser cutting operations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, including job settings, material usage, and quality control checks. Requirements: *Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in laser cutting operations is a plus. *Proven experience as a Laser Cutting Machine Operator or similar role with at least 1 year of experience. Using CYPCUT software. *Familiarity with laser cutting machine operation and programming. *Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. *Strong attention to detail and precision. *Knowledge of materials and their properties, especially those commonly used in laser cutting processes. *Basic mechanical aptitude for machine setup and troubleshooting. *Excellent problem-solving skills. *Good communication and teamwork abilities. *Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
