Landscape Architect (Female Candidates):

Roles and Responsibilities

Relevant education and experience as a landscape designer for residential plans, , Public Parks, Terrace Designing and constructing a Wooden/Modular House.

Good knowledge of Landscape Design for master planning and site planning with an eye for aesthetics, functionality, cost, and sustainability.

Good understanding of materials and finishes.

Coordination with External consultants and Site personnel.

She should have direct and extensive experience in the design of open space networks, public parks, maintaining natural habitat, active and passive recreational space design, green building design, roof garden design, street landscaping, etc

Review design proposals.

Establishing general landscape requirements with clients;

Conducting a preliminary inspection of the site and assessing a site's potential to meet the client's specifications;

Accurately preparing and presenting detailed plans and working drawings, including applications, construction details and specifications for the project using computer-aided design (CAD) packages or similar design software;

Creating and presenting design proposals to clients, dealing with enquiries and negotiating any amendments to the final design

Understanding of local materials and plant palette is required and needs to be familiar with local climate, climate change and environmental issues as they relate to urban and landscape planning.

Contacting and coordinating manufacturers and suppliers for Landscaping work and garden accessories.

Making site visits;

Ensuring deadlines are met;

Liaising with other professionals on the project;

Monitoring and checking work on-site

Attending public inquiries to give evidence if necessary;

Generating new business opportunities.

Supervises and directs grounds personnel by establishing schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring and reviewing projects to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

Decides on the planting scheme for Landscape Designing

UG :B.Arch in Architecture

PG:M.Arch in Landscape Architecture
