- Data Labs at Landmark was established in 2015 and is a key function to aid the different businesses of Landmark Group in both overall strategy and intelligent data driven decision making.

Job Title : Business Analyst (3 to 5 yrs.) - Supply Chain Analytics
Job Role :
- To define, develop and implement analytical solutions for improving supply chain decisions of all business units (BU) in Landmark Group (Gulf/India). Advise business teams on a wide range of areas across varied supply chain functions- Purchasing, Operations, Logistics, Resource management, Information workflow & Product development
Job Responsibilities :
- Decision Support: Understand business problems and their key decision drivers from a data & algorithm point of view. Provide insights, recommendations, action planning and ROI in a usable format to support management decisions and drive efficiencies. Ensure smooth operations and accuracy of deployed analytical algorithms by feature re-engineering, model management and fine-tuning of business rules/constraints
- Functional Advisory: Work on assessing supply chain strategy in alignment with business imperatives and through data diagnostics and gap analysis.
- Insights Discovery & Storytelling: Be responsible for generating actionable recommendations well-supported by quantitative analysis to help our business team address their ongoing problems. Present analytic findings & opportunities for improvement to senior management and summarize key findings, and aid in the dissemination of metrics throughout the organization.
- Stakeholder Management & Analytics Translation: Manage stakeholder expectations and understand the business problem from their point of view. Translate business requirements to analytical solutions and analytical results to business recommendations.
- Process Engineering: Contribute to deploying supply chain process improvements and best-in-class AI/ML applications in collaboration with product managers, data science and data engineering teams, and functional group members. Leverage functional and analytical expertise to design a solution to address on-going problems.
- Accountability & ownership: Work independently taking ownership of complete solution/algorithm and deliverables
- Solution Development: Have a product mindset, where the individual will not only develop analytical solutions but also think big by developing effective and scalable products in collaboration with development teams and product managers team. Collaborate with corporate supply chain team, establish users and calculate ROI.
Desired skills and experience :
- BTech /BE /Master\'s degree in any quantitative discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on modeling and analytics related experience
- Technical mastery in any scripting language such as Python (preferred)/R
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Power BI or similar tools
- Knowledge of analytical techniques such as Time Series Analysis, Linear Regression, Linear & Integer Programming, Cluster Analysis, Decision Trees/Random Forest, etc. is required
- Experience in supply chain analytics will be preferred
- Experience in cloud platforms will be an added advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills is required
- Excellent verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Attention to detail and ability to work in high pressure environment
- Should have worked on engagements that require interpreting findings & extracting insights
- Retail domain experience in a business facing role is a plus.
- Should be curious and willing to learn and adopt to changing business needs
- A strong individual contributor who can work with minimal direction and oversight
- Open to Travel (up to 20%) on need basis
