Our laboratory is DSIR approved and NABL accredited as per ISO 17025:2017 QMS. Our head office is located in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai, and our factory is based in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager (Laboratory/Quality) to join our team in Silvassa. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a rubber testing laboratory, with a strong background in working with NABL accredited laboratories. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring quality compliance, coordinating with the production department, and managing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Laboratory Management : Oversee daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Maintain and improve laboratory accreditation status.

- Quality Assurance : Maintain and enhance the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards. Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards. Develop and implement quality control procedures.

- Testing and R&D : Supervise testing and R&D activities, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

- Coordination: Collaborate with the production department to ensure product quality and address any technical issues.

- Customer Relations: Manage customer coordination and relationship, addressing any technical queries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor laboratory staff on rubber testing techniques and quality standards, Conduct regular training sessions to keep staff updated on new technologies and procedures.

- Documentation: Assist in ISO 9001 documentation and other quality certifications the company aims to undertake.

- Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance, installation, and calibration of laboratory equipment.

- Technical Expertise: Utilize knowledge of rubber testing instruments such as Rheometers, Universal Tensile Tester, Hardness and Density Tester, FTIR, TGA, DSC, EGA, etc.

- Technical Coordination:

Coordinate with the production department to align laboratory activities with production schedules.

Manage customer relationships and handle technical queries.

Provide technical support to internal teams and customers

Requirements:

- Minimum 6 years of experience in a rubber testing laboratory.

- Experience working in a NABL accredited laboratory.

- In-depth knowledge of rubber testing instruments.

- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.

- Excellent coordination and relationship management skills.

- Ability to train and mentor staff.

- Proficient in machine maintenance, installation, and calibration.

- Strong documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Degree in Rubber Technology , Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, or related field.

- Additional certifications in quality management or laboratory management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
