Key Responsibilities:

• Testing and Analysis:
• Perform routine tests on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Conduct pH, viscosity, stability, and other relevant tests.
• Document and report results accurately.
• Formulation Assistance:
• Assist in the development and optimization of new formulations under the guidance of the R&D team.
• Prepare samples for testing and client presentations.
• Maintain accurate records of formulation experiments and trials.
• Lab Maintenance:
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the lab and equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Maintain an inventory of lab supplies and order replacements as needed.
• Compliance:
• Follow safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).
• Adhere to regulatory standards relevant to cosmetic manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in the cosmetic or personal care industry, is a plus.
• Skills:
• Basic understanding of cosmetic formulations and testing procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
