We focus on removing pollutants from freshwater systems using native microalgae and diatoms, which sequester CO2 through photosynthesis. Our efforts are concentrated on two primary domains:Carbon Capture: Utilizing diatoms as a natural solution for capturing atmospheric carbon.Water Bioremediation: Employing native diatoms to remove pollutants from water bodies.Responsibilities:-Organizing experimental data and creating standardized frameworks for experimental reports.-Conduct manual methods of water analysis, ensuring precision and accuracy.-Perform various analytical chemistry techniques to support ongoing research and projects.-Maintain detailed records of experiments and analyses.-Collaborate with the team to develop and improve methods for water quality assessment and diatom biomass quantification.-Ensure proper organization of online folders and experimental data using tools like Excel and OneDrive.Requirements:-MSc or PhD in Environmental Science, Marine Science, Chemical Oceanography, or a related field.-Excellent analytical chemistry skills.-Proven experience with manual methods of water analysis.-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.-Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
