ROLE SUMAMRY
We are seeking a Research Product Manager to lead the development and management of products emerging from our research initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of skills in product management, a deep understanding of research processes, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical development and research goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, a meticulous approach to project management, and the ability to foster collaboration among diverse teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Define and lead the product strategy for applications and technologies developed within our research group.
• Collaborate closely with researchers, developers, and external stakeholders to identify needs, define requirements, and prioritize features.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond, ensuring that products meet research objectives and user needs.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the development process, ensuring projects stay on track and adjusting as necessary in response to feedback or changes in research direction.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and researchers to ensure alignment and integration of research findings into product development.
• Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate potential impact and scalability of research-based products.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and funding bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Proven experience in product management, preferably in a research, tech, or science-based organization.
• Strong understanding of the research process and experience working in a research-driven environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience with project management tools.
• Passion for innovation and a commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and application.
