JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Lab Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fuel oil testing and a strong background in laboratory analysis. As a Lab Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting tests on fuel oil samples, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing accurate and timely results to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sample Analysis:

Perform routine and complex testing of fuel oil samples using various analytical techniques and equipment (e.g., spectrometry, chromatography).

Prepare and analyze samples for parameters such as sulfur content, viscosity, flash point, and other relevant properties.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.

Calibrate and validate instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.

Data Management:

Record and interpret test results accurately, maintaining detailed documentation of procedures and findings.

Generate and review analytical reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance with quality standards.

Quality Assurance:

Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols.

Participate in internal and external audits, and assist in the implementation of corrective actions as needed .

Safety and Compliance:

Follow laboratory safety protocols and ensure the proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials.

Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry standards related to fuel oil testing.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve issues and improve processes.

Communicate test results and technical information clearly to stakeholders and management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a focus on fuel oil or similar petrochemical analysis.
• Skills :

o Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation specific to fuel oil testing.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Attention to detail and accuracy in test results and documentation.

o Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in fuel oil testing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
