Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and maintaining equipment. You will work closely with scientists and researchers to support their projects and ensure the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Responsibilities:

• Sample Preparation:
• Collect, label, and prepare samples for analysis according to established protocols.
• Ensure accurate documentation of sample information and chain of custody.
• Experimentation:
• Conduct experiments under the guidance of scientists, following established procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and analytical instruments.
• Make observations and record data accurately and meticulously.
• Data Analysis:
• Analyze collected data using appropriate software and statistical methods.
• Interpret results and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing findings.
• Laboratory Maintenance:
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Stock laboratory supplies and reagents as needed.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, or medical laboratory technology).
• Experience: Previous laboratory experience preferred, but not essential for entry-level positions.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques.
• Ability to follow written procedures and protocols.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
