Job Summary

The Lab Technician plays a critical role in supporting laboratory operations by conducting routine tests, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This position is essential for ensuring accurate results, contributing to research, and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample Preparation and Testing:
• Prepare, process, and analyze samples according to established protocols.
• Perform routine and specialized tests in areas such as microbiology, chemistry, or clinical diagnostics.
• Accurately record and analyze data to produce reliable results.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure equipment functionality.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of tests, procedures, and results.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to supervisors or research teams.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all laboratory safety and hygiene protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
• Inventory and Supplies:
• Manage inventory of lab supplies and materials.
• Place orders for replenishment as needed.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work collaboratively with team members, scientists, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and training to new staff or interns as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: [Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, or related field; Associate's degree with experience may be considered.]
• Experience: [Freshers-3 years in a laboratory setting.]
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and lab management systems.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
