The Lab Technician is responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results and ensuring accuracy in reporting. Key Responsibilities:

Collect blood and other samples from patients following proper procedures. Perform various laboratory tests, including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology and pathology. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it functions efficiently. Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for doctors and medical professionals. Maintain proper documentation and records of all tests conducted. Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to prevent contamination and infection. Calibrate and validate lab instruments for accuracy and efficiency. Handle and store laboratory samples properly to maintain integrity. Assist in research and development projects as needed. Ensure compliance with hospital regulations, NABL guidelines and other healthcare standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) or equivalent. Certification or license as per local regulatory requirements.

Minimum 2 years of experience

in a clinical laboratory setting. Proficiency in operating lab equipment and software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Work Conditions:

Full-time role with shift-based schedules. Exposure to biological hazards; strict adherence to safety protocols required. Interaction with patients, doctors and healthcare professionals.
