Lab Incharge
Job Description
KNOWLEDGE FOR (ELECTRICAL GAS STOVE, HOME appliances)
• Lab management Scheduling lab and equipment use, purchasing supplies, and preparing order lists
• Safety Ensuring the safety of all lab information and data, and following safety regulations for equipment and materials
• Technical support Providing technical support for practical laboratory sessions, and liaising with academic and research activities
• Lab preparation Setting up experiments, supervising students, and handling all aspects of lab preparation
• Record keeping Maintaining records on materials loaned to students, instructors, and other departments
• Tool room procedures Explaining tool room procedures, and responding to students' questions
Some qualifications for an electrical lab incharge include:
• An MS/MTech/ME degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
• At least three years of experience, preferably with laboratory development and teaching at university level
• Excellent command of the English Language
• Familiarity with technology infused academic environments
• Excellent practical skills
• Experience in using EDA software for the design and manufacture of printed circuit boards
