Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students, faculty, and staff with technical issues related to computers, software, and hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and network problems.
• Provide guidance on the use of IT resources, software tools, and equipment in the
• Set up and configure computers, printers, and other lab equipment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on hardware and software.
• Provide basic training to lab users on software applications and IT tools.
• Assist in the preparation of instructional materials or tutorials for lab users.
• Monitor the lab network for performance and connectivity issues.
• Report any major technical issues or malfunctions to the IT Lab Manager or relevant personnel.
• Enforce lab policies, including access rules, proper use of equipment, and adherence to cybersecurity protocols.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of user data and IT systems.
• Maintain an inventory of lab equipment and ensure all devices are accounted for.
• Assist with the procurement and installation of new hardware or software.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff on special IT-related projects, such as workshops, events, or system upgrades.
Qualification:
Must possess one of the following degrees: B. Tech + MCA, MCA, M. Tech
Proficiency in operating systems (C++, Java, or Python, etc.).
Knowledge of common software applications and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
