Understanding of Schematic, Signal flow and board view

Identification of components, Package of the components and able to read the datasheet of all the available components on the board.

Awareness of BIOS function, requirement of re-programming and re-work of BIOS Chip.

Capable of testing of all the passive components such as Capacitors, Resistors, Inductors, Diodes etc.

Troubleshooting and rectification of

o Knowledge of power on sequence

o Rectify voltage issues and rectifying short circuits all DC Voltages (- 19v, 3.3v & 5v)

o First level of repair related to all function failures (fault related to associated circuit)

Rework of - Small SMD & PTH components

Rework of - all Ports, Sockets and Connectors

for L3-Repair

Excellent rework knowledge of all components (Excluding BGA rework)

Handling track building activity

Motherboard power on sequence

Debug issue of CPU & BGA related issue & declare for BGA rework

Expert to diagnose the circuit voltage & signals through Board view and circuit diagram

All Component Identification and functions

Awareness of handing the BIOS rework/re-program

Short Circuit rectification for all Voltages and Signals

Input & Output Signal & Voltage knowledge of all sections of the circuits

Problem finding and troubleshoot to pinpoint exact failed component and rectification

Helping in Troubleshooting guidelines preparation

Able to train down the line (L1/L2) for next level by On the Job Training
