: Kitchen Steward (KST) for HotelPosition Overview:
The Kitchen Steward (KST) ensures the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and its equipment. This role supports the kitchen staff by maintaining sanitation standards, managing dishwashing duties, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and equipment.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash dishes as required.
• Sort and dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables.
• Maintain cleanliness of garbage bins and disposal areas.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
• Assist with minor equipment repairs as needed.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Maintain organized storage areas for kitchen tools and supplies.
• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks.
• Transport food and supplies between kitchen and storage areas.
• Help with setting up and breaking down kitchen stations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
