Role Overview:
We are seeking a proficient Korean Interpreter/Korean Language Specialist to join our dynamic recruitment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging communication gaps between our Korean-speaking candidates and our recruiters, ensuring clear and accurate information exchange throughout the recruitment process. This role is crucial for supporting our efforts to evaluate, and on-board top talent in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

? Interpretation Services:

? Provide real-time verbal interpretation during recruitment interviews and calls between Korean-speaking candidates and English-speaking team members.

? Translate technical and non-technical conversations accurately and effectively.

? Recruitment Support:

? Assist in understanding the needs and preferences of Korean-speaking candidates.

? Support recruiters in communicating job requirements, role expectations, and feedback.

? Cultural Mediation:

? Facilitate understanding of cultural differences to ensure smooth communication and interaction.

? Provide insights into Korean business etiquette and practices to the recruitment team.

? Documentation:

? Assist in translating recruitment-related documents, including job descriptions, CVs, as and when needed.

? Team Collaboration:

? Work closely with the recruitment team to provide seamless communication support.

? Participate in team meetings and provide updates on interpretation tasks and challenges.

Qualifications:

? Language Proficiency:

? Intermediate or Topik Levels 3 and 4 fluency in Korean and good Command over English.

? Excellent verbal interpretation skills with the ability to convey messages accurately and clearly.

? Experience:

? Previous experience in interpretation or translation, preferably in a recruitment or HR setting.

? Familiarity with recruitment processes and terminology is a plus.

? Skills:

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

? Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

? Cultural awareness and sensitivity.

? Education:

? Bachelor's degree or diploma in Korean Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
