Title : Kong Developer
Level : Senior Associate & Manager
:
Must Have:
• Proficient in developing and designing APIs in Kong
• Experience in defining overall API architecture, API implementations, integration and deployment of API management platforms
• Strong hands on experience in Kong.
• Publishing and documenting APIs on Kong Developer Portal
Good understanding of:
• XML, JSON, Web Service technologies (SOAP, REST).
• Troubleshooting API failures.
• 1way and 2way SSL implementation in Kong.
• Onboarding API Clients using Kong developer portal and maintenance of developer portal.
• Good understanding of Kong plugins (mediation, security and traffic management policies).
• Oauth 2.0/OIDC, Basic Auth, JWT, SSO implementation, XML/JSON transformations, logging policies, Caching.
• REST Tools: Postman, Fiddler, Jmeter etc.
Good to Have:
• Knowledge of Lua programming language
• Java, OpenSSL, Curl, Networking, Unix Shell scripting
