The Vice President of Real Estate is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the real estate strategy for an organization. This leadership role requires expertise in real estate investment, acquisition, development, financing, and management.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Develops strategic plans for real estate investment and development to align with the organization\'s overall goals and objectives.
2. Identifies real estate investment opportunities, evaluate risks, and makes recommendations for property acquisitions or dispositions.
3. Oversees due diligence, site selection, and negotiations for real estate transactions, working closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.
4. Maintains current knowledge of market trends, demand, and competitions to inform decision - making related to real estate investments.
5. Builds and maintains strong relationships with brokers, developers, property managers, and other industry professionals to stay informed of the latest real estate developments and opportunities.
6. Manages real estate assets, including leasing, maintenance, and marketing to maximize revenue and returns.
7. Conducts financial analysis, including cash flow projections, pro-forma financial statements, and return on investment calculations.
8. Works collaboratively with other departments, including finance, legal, marketing, and operations to ensure real estate strategy aligns with the overall company objectives.
9. Develops and manages real estate budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are within budget guidelines and timelines are met.
