• Experienced Content Management Specialist with a minimum of 6-8 years of work experience in creating new content, familiar with knowledge management functions, handling various technical publication and documentation activities using publishing tools, MS Office, and Adobe products.
• Responsible for creating, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive and well-structured documentation for Barry-Wehmiller machinery/products, services, and processes.
• Able to translate complete technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content, tailored to a wide range of audiences, including customers, internal team, and for training purposes.
• A certified technical writer with good exposure to the industrial machinery domain and the expertise to follow writing standards according to the division's needs.
• Exposure to the Printing/Packaging industry and terminologies would be an added advantage.

Skills

• Ability to understand machine functions and technical content to comprehend engineering drawings, technical specifications, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or software systems relevant to the equipment, operator interface, and controls,
• Familiar with industry standards and guidelines for technical documentation. Example
• Proficiency in using documentation tools like Madcap Flare, RoboHelp, Adobe Frame Maker (including XML driven) Google Docs, Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of graphic editing tools like Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop for incorporating diagrams/images.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) for version control and collaboration.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies is desirable.
• Knowledge of creating Books/Manuals/Templates/Master is required.
• Knowledge of the best practices used in the publishing industry would be a plus.
• Familiarity with CAD tools is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Documentation division/product line-wise.
• Should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy!
• Create Visual Aids to meet the expectations of multi-regional customers
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory, legal and industry compliance standards
• Ensure Review and content editing is at peak performance.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from users to continue improving the documentation process.
• Version control use necessary content management tools/techniques.
• Interact frequently with SMEs for the latest product updates, industry trends, and best practices in technical writing
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree 6 8 years experience in knowledge engineering, knowledge management functions, or related fields.
• Familiar, with working in the publishing industry, with a proven track of creating content for industrial machinery and illustration following standards, processes, and procedures.
• Experience with building content or managing AI-driven knowledge systems.

Travel:

• May be required to travel.
