  • Strong knowledge of the fundafundamentalsommercial refrigeration practice and theory.
  • Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocol
  • Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Responsible for identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Responsible for diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Responsible for cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
  • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers\' requirements
  • Assisting with customers\' queries.
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and patience.

  • High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
  • 3+ year experience as an Kitchen technician, and willingness to continue education in Engineering field.
  • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
  • Outstanding soldering and brazing skills applying oxygen/propane.
  • Profound knowledge of how various types of kitchen and refrigeration equipment work.
  • Strong ability to prioritize assigned task for increased job delivery.
  • Exceptional ability to properly investigate problems with food equipment, discover the issue and correct it.
