• Report to -Ex Chef
• Supervise and coordinate activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel.
• Plan and prepare menus , ensuring portion control and cost management.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Oversee inventory management , ensuring adequate supplies and equipment.
• Train and manage kitchen staff, including hiring and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage food orders.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain kitchen tools.
Qualifications:
• Culinary education or relevant experience in the food industry.
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Experience in menu planning and cost control.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
