Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Supervisor to lead our kitchen team and ensure the efficient operation of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and experience in managing inventory, staff, and food safety protocols. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who is active, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring the smooth flow of kitchen operations.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation to prevent wastage.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation in the kitchen.
• Ensure food preparation and cooking are carried out to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Assist in training, developing, and motivating kitchen staff.
• Oversee food prep, cooking, plating, and dispatching of orders.
• Manage kitchen schedules and delegate tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
• Handle customer service issues and work closely with front-of-house staff to meet customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform regular stock audits and track food costs to stay within budget.
• Report to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager regarding any operational concerns or opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a professional kitchen.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, inventory management, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• A passion for food and culinary excellence.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Food Safety, First Aid) are a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 5 - 8 per week
