Adaminte Chayakkada is searching for a motivated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our growing restaurant. In this role, you will play a vital part in leading our kitchen team and ensuring our customers have a delightful dining experience. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining high standards for food quality, presentation, and service.
Manage and schedule kitchen staff, including training new hires, creating work assignments, and providing performance feedback.
Ensure adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Conduct regular inventory checks and place orders for necessary supplies.
Assist with menu planning and recipe development (in some cases).
Resolve any kitchen issues that may arise and ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen supervisor role.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols (HACCP certification a plus).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in maintaining inventory and cost control procedures.
Experience in a similar cuisine a plus (Keralan cuisine preferred).
