Job Summary:
The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas. This role supports kitchen staff by ensuring that cooking tools, dishes, and equipment are clean and readily available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Sanitize food preparation areas and surfaces.
• Dispose of waste, ensure proper garbage segregation, and recycling.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Support other kitchen staff by maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
• No formal education required; on-the-job training is provided.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.
