Key Responsibilities:
• Dishwashing and Sanitization:
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Organize and maintain a clean dishwashing area.
• Kitchen Support:
• Assist kitchen staff in food preparation tasks as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in kitchen storage areas.
• Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, and refrigerators.
• Sweep and mop floors, remove spills, and ensure that surfaces are kept clean and dry.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and inform management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Teamwork and Communication:
• Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure efficient operation.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding any issues or concerns.
