Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including tiffins and curries, according to traditional recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and making sauces.
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Handle and store ingredients properly to prevent spoilage.
• Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in an Indian restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, particularly in preparing tiffins and curries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality food.
