Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and pre-cooking ingredients.
  • Help with the receiving and storage of deliveries, ensuring that all supplies are put away in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
  • Follow the chefs and cooks\' instructions to support the cooking and assembling of dishes during busy periods.
  • Dispose of waste materials in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Help to monitor inventory and report low stock levels to the head chef or manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or similar role is preferred but not required.
  • A basic understanding of food safety practices and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when needed.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions accurately.
