Kindergarten Teacher
Job Description
Help students learn the basics of school and prepare them for first grade. Their responsibilities include:
• TeachingIntroduce students to subjects like reading, writing, math, letter recognition, phonics, and science, as well as social and emotional skills
• Lesson planningCreate weekly lesson plans that integrate goals and objectives, and use a variety of approaches and tools to keep lessons engaging
• Classroom managementCreate a safe and supportive environment, enforce rules, and model positive behavior
• Student assessmentObserve and assess students' performance, skill, behavior, and social development, and look for potential issues
• CommunicationDiscuss students' needs with parents and administrators, and communicate subject content to students in a way they can understand
• Other responsibilitiesMaintain grades, encourage creativity, and work closely with other staff
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: ?5,000.00 - ?10,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 15 per week
