Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and strengthen relationships with our largest and most strategic customers in the construction industry. As a KAM, you will be responsible for overseeing the needs of key clients, ensuring the successful delivery of products, and enhancing long-term partnerships. This role requires a strong focus on account management , client retention , and strategic planning to ensure mutual success for both the client and Vikrant Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-value accounts (e.g., large contractors, builders, architects). Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Client Relationship Development:
Understand each key client's unique business needs, challenges, and goals. Proactively offer tailored solutions to help clients achieve success with Tata product offerings.
Contract and Project Oversight:
Work closely with clients to oversee the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring that delivery timelines, quality, and specifications are met. Act as the liaison between the client and internal teams to resolve any issues promptly.
Account Retention & Growth:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and proactively identifying new opportunities to expand the relationship. Strengthen account loyalty through exceptional service and support.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Collaborate with sales, logistics, and technical teams to ensure smooth product delivery, accurate order fulfillment, and effective problem-solving for key accounts.
Market Insights & Competitor Analysis:
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform account strategies and enhance value delivery.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably in engineering, sales, or business administration).
Experience:
At least 2-5 years of experience in Key Account management or client relationship management , ideally in the building materials , construction , or engineering sector .
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the construction industry and building materials.
Relationship Management Skills:
Proven ability to manage high-value, long-term customer relationships. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to resolve complex client issues and anticipate their future needs. Comfortable working with cross-functional teams to deliver the best solutions.
Organizational Skills:
Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and handle client requests in a timely and organized manner.
