Job Description


Brief :The Key Account Manager for Smart Manufacturing in the Pharma Industry is responsible for managing and growing key client accounts within the pharmaceutical sector. This role requires a deep understanding of smart manufacturing technologies, a strong knowledge of the pharma industry, and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with clients. The Key Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to drive the adoption of smart manufacturing solutions, ensure client satisfaction, and achieve sales targets.Job Profile:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key clients in the enterprise sector. Serve as the primary point of contact and develop a deep understanding of their business needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to identify opportunities for growth, upselling, and cross-selling. Work with clients to align their business objectives with the company\'s products and services.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets by effectively presenting and selling the company\'s solutions to key clients. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and acquire new enterprise clients.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and drive revenue growth. Coordinate resources to address client needs and deliver on commitments.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization. Gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and work with internal teams to enhance the company\'s offerings and service delivery.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape within the enterprise sector. Leverage this knowledge to develop effective sales strategies and differentiate the company\'s solutions.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead contract negotiations with key clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions while protecting the company\'s interests. Manage contract renewals, expansions, and amendments
  • Performance Reporting: Track and report on key account metrics, including revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and sales forecasts. Provide regular updates to the management team on the status of key accounts and sales activities.
Job Requirements:
  • BE -: Mechanical / Production/ Instrumentation / Automation / Control system preferred.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in enterprise selling with Pharma, FMCG or any process industry.
  • Master\'s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in enterprise sales, key account management, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise market and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Good Contacts in the Pharma manufacturing sector
  • Excellent networking, influencing skills to win business
