The Junior/Trainee Captain is responsible for assisting in the smooth operation of the restaurant, ensuring excellent guest service, managing restaurant setup, taking orders, and serving guests. This role is designed to provide hands-on training and experience to develop leadership skills in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Restaurant Management & Setup:

Assist in daily restaurant opening and closing procedures. Ensure proper table setup, including linens, cutlery, glassware, and decor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area before and after service.

Guest Service & Taking Order:

Greet guests courteously and assist them in selecting menu items. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen. Ensure timely service and check guest satisfaction during meals. Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and minor complaints professionally.

Serving & Food Presentation:

Serve food and beverages as per restaurant service standards. Ensure proper presentation and quality before serving guests. Ensure tables are cleared and reset promptly for the next guests. Gather guest feedback and report to the management for service improvement.
