Job Description
Job Summary: The Junior Trader will assist in the execution of trading strategies, monitor market activity, and support senior traders in the management of the trading portfolio. This role requires a keen analytical mind, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the execution of trades across various financial instruments.
• Monitor market conditions and trading activities to identify opportunities and risks.
• Conduct market research and analysis to support trading decisions.
• Maintain and update trading records and reports.
• Collaborate with senior traders to develop and refine trading strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Utilize trading platforms and software to execute and monitor trades.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of trading processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with trading platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Previous internship or experience in trading or financial markets is a plus.
